If you have….

* Tried worm farms without success ·
* Had enough of foul odours ·
* No room for a large compost bin

But you still want:

* To recycle all your food waste?
* To produce 100% natural fertiliser every month?
* To produce 100% natural liquid soil conditioner every week?

Then the Bokashi Australia compost system is for you Click here to see the video

Small and compact enough to keep in your kitchen, the Bokashi Australia compost system takes all the waste you can’t put in a worm farm or are troublesome to compost.

Meat, fish, citrus, onion, dairy products etc. even bones! (Bones still have a lot of nutrient in them; after you bury the Bokashi compost, the bones will eventually surface, just pick them out then, easy!)

The Bokashi Australia system ferments your kitchen waste using Effective Micro-organisms (EM). Fermentation prevents the waste from rotting and putrefying, because there is no putrefaction, there is no foul odours or insects!

Fermentation is similar to pickling. A pickled onion still looks like an onion after it is pickled, the waste in the bin will still look the same only the lignin or fibre in the waste will be broken down. Fermentation produces no heat therefore all energy is retained, when done inside the bucket, it requires no turning, produces no leachate and minimal greenhouse gases.

As opposed to conventional composting, fermentation is sweet smelling and does not attract insects, flies or rodents.

The Bokashi Australia system uses Bokashi to ferment your food waste; Bokashi is a mixture of Wheat bran, Pollard and Rice hulls that are fermented with certified Effective Micro-organisms (EM), molasses and water. After fermentation the Bokashi is dried using a special process exclusively designed for Bokashi Australia, beware of imitations that do not use genuine EM .

The Bokashi compost is ready in as little as 1 week after the bucket is full and produces a very high nutrient value end product which is high quality soil conditioner.

The Bokashi Australia system ferments ALL your kitchen waste using Effective Micro-Organisms (EM).

This includes:

* meat
* fish
* citrus
* onion
* dairy products
* even bones!

After 2 weeks the waste will have broken down into rich nutritious soil conditioner, which can be spread around the rest of your garden.
