Vermicomposting is a great way to recycle food waste and educate students about the role earthworm’s play in the soil food web helping to rebuild our soils.

EM (Effective Micro Organisms) has many uses including improving soil quality for healthy plants, organic odour control and organic cleaning. It can be used to set in motion a fermentation process that transforms organic waste into nutrient rich compost. EM Bokashi originated in Japan and is now growing in acceptance in mainstream agriculture and industry.
